Wandering Away

Did you have any experience of losing your way? When I was about seven years old, my mother took my younger brother and me to the night market. Because my brother was just a baby, my mother had to hold him in her arms; therefore, the only thing I could do was keeping pace with her. In the night market there were a lot of peddlers. I was full of curiosity, because they were all so exciting since I had never seen such people before. I walked unconsciously faster and faster. When I was back to myself, I found I had loosened my mother’s grip. I did not know how long it had passed. I was anxious to know what happened so I recalled carefully. Apparently, I lost my way in the branch road. How could I get lost in such a small night market? I attributed it to the congestion of the place, as the street was crowded with people. When I found that I was lost, I began to scream out and started running around with panic. During this moment, I heard other people said "Don't get lost" in whisper. Fortunately, my mother found me eventually. She looked happy but scolded me for my mistake. As is mentioned above, I learned a good lesson from this incident. But after this event, I am afraid of walking a long way ahead of others when walking with my family and friends.
